HomeMy WebLinkAbout3.3 Supplement Supplemental No.3 ITEM#3.3 Distributed 11/3/16 RE: Letter of support to the Town of Los Altos Hills for the Cabana proposal for 24600 Eshner Court, Los Altos Hills. My wife and I support the development of the cabana on the above referenced property. We share property lines with both the Clearys and the Yorks in Los Altos Hills. We see absolutely no obstruction of view for the Clearys with respect to the development of the proposed cabana. I understand that a letter was submitted by the Cleary's counsel — Aaronson, Dickerson, Cohn & Lanzone that states that the Clearys asked for certain walnut trees be removed from the conservation easement. I currently own and have owned the conservation easement and asked the Clearys what trees they would like removed from the easement to enhance their view and I removed every single tree they asked to be removed at my sole expense. This was a good neighbor suggestion on my part and never a requirement by any government agency. I have an agreement with the Yorks to the split of both the ownership and rights to the conservation easement. I am dismayed by the Cleary's assertion that the York's cabana would anyway interfere with their view. I spent tens of thousands of dollars removing the walnut trees as a good neighbor to insure the Clearys had a bountiful view. My wife and I feel the Clearys are out of line asking for the applicant to alter their plans for their proposed project. I have dealt with the Clearys for over seven years and have been saddened by their approached and lack of respect for their neighbors. Our hope is that the applicant receives approval for their project. Respectfully, Mark & Ruth Pearson
