November 14, 2018 Meeting Minutes Meeting Time: Monday November 14, 2018 from 5:30 – 7:00 PM Meeting Place: Parks and Recreation Building 26379 Fremont Road, Los Altos Hills, CA 94022 1. Call to Order/Roll Call (Quorum = 4) a. Chair: Ingrid Sperow; Vice Chair: Nina Sutaria; Secretary: Kathy Evans-(not present) b. Members: Ying Liu, Liza Reichert, Nina Sutaria, Patty Radlo, Scott Vanderlip c. Staff: Sarah Gualtieri Robustelli, Chris Knopf d. Associate Members: Helene Karlsson, Kjell Karlsson; Craig Murray e. Members of Public: No members of the public present. 2. Approval of Past Minutes (August meeting) a. Ingrid made a motion to further condense the August 20, 2018, meeting minutes and Scott Vanderlip seconded the motion, all agreed. 3. Public Comment: none. 4. Facility Use Policy Review: a. The Facility Use Policy Sub-Committee includes Nina Sutaria and Patty Radlo with Sarah Robustelli. The Committee suggested some clarification to items 7 and 8 on the Draft Facility Use Policy and to place a date on the document. Nina Sutaria moved to approve the Facility Use Policy with the suggested changes and Ying Liu seconded the motion. 5. Community Garden: Ingrid Sperow had mentioned possible future collaborations with Hidden Villa and Kitchen Table Advisors (an organization promoting connection between people and local farms.) a. Craig Murray is interested in doing a Seed Starting Class in the Spring/Summer 2019 Activity Guide. 6. Town Hall Expansion: a. Alternative Plan B was presented to the Planning Commission at their meeting on November 1, 2018. b. All public comments toward the Town Hall Expansion are welcome at the Town’s next Council Meeting. Residents must come forward to voice their interests. c. Will the Town instigate a resident address on the matter? d. What is the timeline for the project?
7. Activity Guide: a. The deadline for programming submissions is Dec. 21, 2018. 8. 2018 Events Update: a. Holiday Barn Lighting (12/2, 2-5pm) b. Lights Parade (11/25, 5pm) 9. Old Business: 10. New Business: a. LAH Recreation Trails-Scott lahrecreationtrails.org Future 2018 Meetings:
