RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS
APPROVING A TIME EXTENSION OF AN APPROVED PLANNING PERMIT
FOR A NEW MAIN RESIDENCE, BASEMENT, AND ADU
(LANDS OF GUO AND GAO)
WHEREAS, Jason Guo and Pin Gao ("Owners") own the property commonly known as 23691
Camino Hermoso Drive, Los Altos Hills, California (APN 182-09-033); and
WHEREAS, the Planning Permit #SD 18-0063 and Appeal Permit #APL20-0001 for a new
main residence, basement, and ADU were approved on September 3, 2021, with reasonable
conditions of approval; and
WHEREAS, the permits expired on September 3, 2021, as the Town has adopted a Planning
Permit Expiration Ordinance and, pursuant thereto, sets an expiration date for site development
and zoning permits at one year; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Planning Permit Expiration Ordinance, the City Council has the
authority to grant reasonable extensions of time for site development and zoning permits that
have expired; and
WHEREAS, the Town generally grants time extensions of one (1) calendar year; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills
does hereby approve on behalf of the Owners, a one (1) year Time Extension of approved
Planning Permit #SD18-0063 and Appeal Permit #APL20-0001, subject to the originally
adopted conditions.
The above and foregoing Resolution passed and adopted by the City Council of the Town of
Los Altos Hills at a regular meeting held on the 20th day of March 2025, by the following vote:
AYES: TANKHA, BHATEJA, MOK, SWAN, TYSON
NOES: NONE
ABSTAIN: NONE
ABSENT: NONE
