A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS
APPROVING THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE MATADERO CREEK
RESTORATION AND BANK STABILIZATION PROJECT; AUTHORIZING STAFF TO
ADVERTISE THE PROJECT FOR FORMAL BID; AND TRANSFERING $200,000 FROM
CAPITAL PROJECTS RESERVE FUNDS TO SUPPLEMENT THE DRAINAGE IN-LIEU
FUNDING SOURCE
WHEREAS, the Matadero Creek Erosion Repair has been approved in the Adopted Operating and
Capital Budgets for FY2024-2025 and FY2025-2026; and
WHEREAS, the updated and value engineered Plans and Specifications for the Matadero Creek
Restoration and Bank Stabilization for the erosion repair work have been completed for rebid; and
WHEREAS, staff recommends that the City Council approve the Plans and Specifications for the
Matadero Creek Restoration and Bank Stabilization Project and authorize staff to advertise the project
for formal bid; and
WHEREAS, for fiscal prudence and to maintain an operational balance in the Storm Drain Fund at the
end of the project, staff is recommending transferring $200,000 from the General Fund Capital
Projects Reserve funds to the project budget to supplement the Drainage in-Lieu budget approved for
the project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills that:
1.The Plans and Specifications for the Matadero Creek Restoration and Bank
Stabilization Project are approved; and
2.Staff is authorized to advertise the project for formal bid; and
3.$200,000 of the General Fund Capital Projects Reserve is approved to be
transferred to the project to supplement the Drainage in-Lieu funding source
The above and foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted by the City Council of the Town of Los
Altos Hills at a regular meeting held on the 20th day of March 2025 by the following vote:
