RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS
APPROVING A TIME EXTENSION OF AN APPROVED BUILDING PERMIT FOR A
NEW RESIDENCE
(LANDS OF CAROL D AND DONALD R CIFRES TRUST)
WHEREAS, the Carol D And Donald R Cifres Trust ("Owner") owns the property commonly
known as 26700 Palo Hills Drive, Los Altos Hills, California (APN 175-33-048); and
WHEREAS, the building permit (#8999) for a new residence was issued on October 22, 1997; and
WHEREAS, the building permits expired on January 12, 2001, as the Town has adopted a
Construction Time Limits Ordinance and, pursuant thereto, sets an expiration date for Building
Permits for new dwellings and remodels with additions with a project valuation between
$250,001 and $500,000 at twenty-four (24) months; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Construction Time Limits Ordinance, the City Council has the
authority to grant reasonable extensions of time for Building Permits that have expired; and
WHEREAS, the Town generally grants time extensions of one (1) calendar year; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills does
hereby approve on behalf of the Owners, a one (1) year Time Extension of approved Building
Permit (#BLD25-0020).
The above and foregoing Resolution passed and adopted by the City Council of the Town of Los
Altos Hills at a regular meeting held on the 20th day of March 2025, by the following vote:
