A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ISSUE A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
FOR FY2025-2027 LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE SERVICES
WHEREAS, the landscape maintenance services agreement between the Town of Los Altos
Hills and the current landscaping contractor is set to expire on June 30, 2025; and
WHEREAS, the Town of Los Altos Hills (Town) is seeking the services of an experienced and
qualified landscape maintenance company with expertise in vegetation management, irrigation,
water management, landscaping, pest control without harmful chemicals, soils, and fertilizers to
maintain the landscaping at the Town Hall, Arastradero Path, Edith Park, Foothill College and El
Monte Pedestrian and Bike Path, Fremont Road Path, and Westwind Community Barn in a
scheduled and professional manner; and
WHEREAS, the scope of services includes all work involved in performing the landscape
maintenance at six landscape sites for a period of two years starting July 1, 2025, with an option
to extend the contract one additional year; and
WHEREAS, the FY2025-2027 Landscaping Maintenance Services would be funded through
General, Pathways, and Westwind Barn Funds accordingly.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills does hereby authorize
the City Manager to issue a Request for Proposal for the FY2025-2027 Landscaping
Maintenance Services.
The above and foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted by the City Council of the Town of
Los Altos Hills at a regular meeting held on the 201h day of March 2025 by the following vote:
AYES: TANKHA, BHATEJA, MOK, SWAN, TYSON
