RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS
APPROVING A TIME EXTENSION OF AN APPROVED BUILDING PERMIT FOR A NEW
MAIN RESIDENCE AND ATTACHED ADU
(LANDS OF KOO)
WHEREAS, Hadi Koo ("Owner") owns the property commonly known as 25251 La Rena Lane, Los
Altos Hills, California (APN 175-38-032); and
WHEREAS, the building permits # BLD20-0223 for a new main residence basement and a new
pool house conversion to an ADU were issued on May 4, 2021, with reasonable conditions of
approval; and
WHEREAS, the permits expired on May 4, 2024, as the Town has adopted a Construction Time
Limits Ordinance and, pursuant thereto, sets an expiration date for Building Permits for new
dwellings and remodels with additions with a project valuation of $1,000,001 and over at thirty-six
(36) months; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Construction Time Limits Ordinance, the City Council has the authority
to grant reasonable extensions of time for Building Permits that have expired; and
WHEREAS, the Town generally grants time extensions of one (1) calendar year; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills does
hereby approve on behalf of the Owners, a one (1) year Time Extension of approved Building Permit
# BLD20- 0223, subject to the originally adopted conditions.
The above and foregoing Resolution passed and adopted by the City Council of the Town of Los
Altos Hills at a regular meeting held on the 26th day of June 2025, by the following vote:
