RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS
APPROVING A TIME EXTENSION OF AN APPROVED BUILDING PERMIT FOR A NEW
MAJOR ADDITION TO A MAIN RESIDENCE
(LANDS OF HYDER)
WHEREAS, Kamal Hyder ("Owner") owns the property commonly known as 11778 Maria Lane, Los
Altos Hills, California (APN 336-42-028); and
WHEREAS, the building permit # BLD21-0560 for a new major addition to the main residence was
issued on September 30, 2022, with reasonable conditions of approval; and
WHEREAS, the permits expired on March 30, 2025, as the Town has adopted a Construction Time
Limits Ordinance and, pursuant thereto, sets an expiration date for Building Permits for new
dwellings and remodels with additions with a project valuation of $500,000 to
$1,000,000 and over at thirty (30) months; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Construction Time Limits Ordinance, the City Council has the authority
to grant reasonable extensions of time for Building Permits that have expired; and
WHEREAS, the Town generally grants time extensions of one (1) year; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills does
hereby approve on behalf of the Owners, a one (1) year Time Extension of approved Building Permit #
BLD21-0560, subject to the originally adopted conditions.
The above and foregoing Resolution passed and adopted by the City Council of the Town of Los Altos
Hills at a regular meeting held on the 26th day of June 2025, by the following vote:
