RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS
APPROVING A TIME EXTENSION OF AN APPROVED BUILDING PERMIT FOR A NEW
POOL
(LANDS OF KOLTEK)
WHEREAS, Timon Koltek ("Owner") owns the property commonly known as 12520 Barley Hill
Road, Los Altos Hills, California (A -PN 336-22-019); and
WHEREAS, the building permit # BLD18-0402 for a new pool was issued on November 1, 2018,
with reasonable conditions of approval; and
WHEREAS, the permit initially expired on November 1, 2019, was extended to December 14, 2020,
on January 22, 2020, and subsequently expired again. A further extension was granted by the
Building Official on June 12, 2024, but that extension also expired on September 12, 2024, as the
Town has adopted a Construction Time Limits Ordinance which limits Building Official extensions to
a maximum of two, not to exceed a total of one year; and
WHEREAS, the permit last extension expired September 12, 2024, and the Town has adopted a
Construction Time Limits Ordinance and, pursuant thereto, sets an expiration date for Building
Permits for construction projects with a valuation of $0-$100,000 at twelve (12) months; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Construction Time Limits Ordinance, the City Council has the authority
to grant reasonable extensions of time for Building Permits that have expired; and
WHEREAS, the Town generally grants time extensions of one (1) calendar year; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills does
hereby approve on behalf of the Owners, a one (1) year Time Extension of approved Building Permit
# BLD 18-0402, subject to the originally adopted conditions.
The above and foregoing Resolution passed and adopted by the City Council of the Town of Los
Altos Hills at a regular meeting held on the 21St day of July 2025, by the following vote:
