A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS
RE -APPROVING THE ABANDONMENT OF A SLOPE EASEMENT AT 26875 NINA
PLACE (APN 175-44-069)
WHEREAS, on July 16, 2020, the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills approved the
abandonment of a slope easement located at 26875 Nina Place (APN 175-44-069); and
WHEREAS, in the assessment of outstanding items needed to finalize the project, the slope
easement abandonment remained outstanding with the Santa Clara County Recorder's Office,
leaving the existing recorded slope easement unchanged; and
WHEREAS, the property owner now requests completion of the abandonment so that project
approvals and finalization may proceed; and
WHEREAS, staff has reviewed the circumstances and finds that the slope easement remains
unnecessary to support any Town interest, and its abandonment will not negatively impact public
health, safety, or welfare; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to confirm its July 16, 2020, action and authorize
recordation of the slope easement abandonment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the Town of Los Altos
Hills as follows:
1. The City Council hereby confirms the abandonment of the slope easement at 26875
Nina Place (APN 175-44-069), originally approved on July 16, 2020.
2. The City Council finds that the slope easement is no longer necessary and that its
abandonment will not adversely affect the public interest.
3. The City Manager, Community Development Director, or their designee is authorized
and directed to execute and record with the Santa Clara County Recorder's Office all
documents necessary to complete this abandonment.

AYES: TANKHA, BHATEJA, MOK, SWAN, TYSON
