RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS
APPROVING VACATION OF A PORTION OF AN OPEN SPACE EASEMENT (LANDS OF
SETO)
WHEREAS, John Yee Woon Seto and Lai-Ieng Che Seto ("Owner") own the property commonly
known as 13410 La Cresta Drive, Los Altos Hills, California (APN 175-42-014); and
WHEREAS, the Town has adopted a General Plan and, pursuant thereto, may accept grants of open
space easements on privately owned lands lying within the Town;
WHEREAS, on May 16, 2019; the City Council accepted dedication of an open space easement as a
condition of approval for a site development permit at 13410 La Cresta Drive;
WHEREAS, on August 5, 2024, the owner submitted an application requesting an amendment to the
open space easement, citing that the easement had been incorrectly drawn;
WHEREAS, on July 10, 2024, the Open Space Committee expressed support for the partial open space
easement vacation;
WHEREAS, on February 26, 2025, the Planning Commission voted unanimously to recommend that
the City Council approve the vacation of a portion of the open space easement; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills as follows:
1. The City Council hereby confirms the vacation of a portion of the open space easement at
13410La Cresta Drive (APN 175-42-014), originally approved on May 16, 2019.
2. The City Council finds that vacating a portion of the open space easement will not adversely
affect the public interest or the purposes for which the easement was originally dedicated.
3. The City Manager, Community Development Director, or their designee is authorized and.
directed to execute and record with the Santa Clara County Recorder's Office all documents
necessary to complete this vacation.

Altos Hills at a regular meeting held on the 20th of November 2025 by the following vote:
AYES: TANKHA, BHATEJA, MOK, SWAN, TYSON
NOES: NONE
ABSTAIN: NONE
ABSENT: NONE
