A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS
APPROPRIATING$I0,000 OF THE LOS ALTOS HILLS HISTORICAL SOCIETY
DONATION IN SPECIAL REVENUE DONATION FUND FOR THE PURCHASE OF A
CONFERENCE DOOM TABLE AND CHAIRS FOR HERITAGE HOUSE
WHEREAS, on January 15, 2015, the City Council accepted a donation of $21,000 from the Los
Altos Hills Historical Society into a newly created Special Revenue Donation Fund; and
WHEREAS, the Heritage House Upgrade project was first approved in the FY2022-23 Five Year
Capital Improvement Plan to improve the 1,100 -square -foot space for multi-purpose use with a focus
on senior community events, committee operations, and a meeting space; and
WHEREAS, on October 21, 2025, the History Committee voted in favor of appropriating $5,000 of the
Los Altos Hills Historical Society's donation fund for a conference table made by Stickley; and
WHEREAS, the History Committee met again on November 18, 2025, to approve appropriating
another $5,000 of the donation funds for the matching chairs by Stickley for a total donation amount of
$10,000; and
WHEREAS, the Stickley table and chairs selected for the Heritage House cost around $22,000, and
the Heritage House Upgrading project budget would cover the remaining funds needed for the
furniture; and
WHEREAS, the History Committee recommended that the City Council approve an appropriation of
$10,000 of the Special Revenue Donation Fund from the Los Altos Hills Historical Society Donation
to the purchase of Heritage House conference room table and chairs, and a Council approval is required
to appropriate any portion of the donation fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills that
$10,000 appropriation of Special Revenue Donation Fund from the Los Altos Hills Historical Society
Donation for the purchase of the conference room table and chairs for Heritage House is hereby
approved.
The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the City Council of the Town of Los
Altos Hills at a regular meeting held on the 9th day of December 2025 by the following vote:
AYES: TANKHA, BHATEJA, MOK, SWAN, TYSON
NOES: NONE
ABSTAIN: NONE
ABSENT: NONE
