RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS
ACCEPTING THE CORPORATION YARD LOCKER ROOM PHASE 1 PROJECT
PERFORMED BY ARGOS CONSTRUCTION AS COMPLETE, AUTHORIZING THE
RELEASE OF FINAL RETENTION TO THE CONTRACTOR, AND DIRECTING THE
CITY CLERK TO FILE A NOTICE OF COMPLETION
WHEREAS, on April 11, 2025, the City Council approved the Plans and Specifications for the
Corporation Yard Locker Room Project and authorized staff to advertise the project for formal bid; and
WHEREAS, on June 26, 2025, the City Council awarded the project to the lowest responsible bidder,
Argos Construction, authorized the City Manager to execute a construction agreement for $175,000,
and approved project contingency funds of $35,000; and
WHEREAS, a construction agreement was executed on July 8, 2025, and the work was fully
completed under the terms of the contract on November 20, 2025; and
WHEREAS, the total project expenditure for the contracted work by Argos Construction is
$188,900, which is below the amount of $210,000 authorized by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, staff recommend that the City Council accept the Corporation Yard Locker Room Phase
1 Project performed by Argos Construction as complete and allow the remittance of the five percent
retention to the contractor 35 days following the project acceptance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills that:
1. The Corporation Yard Locker Room Phase 1 Project by Argos Construction is accepted as
complete; and
2. Staff is authorized to make the final retention payment concerning the above-described work;
and
3. The City Cleric is hereby directed to file the notice of the completion of said project with the
County Recorder of the County of Santa Clara, within ten (10) days from the date of this
Resolution.
The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the City Council of the Town of Los
Altos Hills at a regular meeting held on the 9th day of December 2025 by the following vote:
AYES: TANIKHA, BHATEJA, MOH SWAN, TYSON

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Argos Construction on July 8, 2025, entered into a contract
for the Corporation Yard Locker Room Phase 1 Project, in Los Altos Hills, situated in Santa
Clara County, with the Town of Los Altos Hills. Said improvements were completed in
accordance with the Plans and Specifications adopted by the City Council and upon the terms
and conditions set forth and identified by the written contract.
On the 9th day of December 2025, the work provided to be done under the contract was accepted
as fully completed within the terms of the contract.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the public board for whom the above-described work was
done is the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills, a municipal corporation of the State of
California, and that the name and address of the political subdivision for which the above-
described work was done is the Town of Los Altos Hills, State of California, Town Hall, 26379
Fremont Road, Los Altos Hills, California 94022.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the name of the contractor by whom the above-described
work was done is as follows:
