HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 85-25�RT1J LiI1VC1rL A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS APPROVING A 10 -YEAR EXTENSION OF CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT CUP25-0007 FOR AN EXISTING MONOPINE WIRELESS COMMUNICATION FACILITY LOCATED AT 27299 ARASTRADERO ROAD (APN: 142-16-077) WHEREAS, an application has been submitted by Crown Castle for a ten-year extension of Conditional Use Permit CUP25-0007 for an existing monopine wireless communication facility located on the Purissima Hills Water District property at 27299 Arastradero Road (APN: 142-16-077); and WHEREAS, the subject property is zoned R -A (Residential -Agricultural) and wireless communication facilities are conditionally permitted uses within this zoning district; and WHEREAS, the facility was previously approved under a valid Conditional Use Permit and has been in continuous operation without significant complaints, violations, or compliance issues; and WHEREAS, the requested extension does not involve any expansion, modification, or intensification of the facility beyond its current design, which includes antennas and associated ground equipment screened within a monopine structure; and WHEREAS, the project is categorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15301 (Existing Facilities) of the CEQA Guidelines; and WHEREAS, public notice of this hearing was provided. in accordance with Town noticing requirements; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the application, staff report, and all evidence presented at the public hearing held on October 2, 2025. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills that the City Council hereby approves a ten-year extension of Conditional Use PermitCUP25-0007 for the existing monopine wireless communication facility located at 27299Arastradero Road (APN: 142-16- 077). CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL 1.Term: This approval shall extend the Conditional Use Permit for a period of ten (10) years from the date of City Council approval. 2.Compliance: The facility shall continue to operate in compliance with all applicable Town, State, and Federal regulations, including FCC standards for radiofrequency emissions. 3. Maintenance: The monopine and associated equipment shall be maintained in good condition, including visual screening and landscaping, to the satisfaction of the Planning Director 4. Revocation: The Town reserves the right to revolve this permit for cause pursuant to Town regulations if the operator fails to comply with the conditions of approval. The above and foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted by the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills at a regular meeting held on the 20th of November 2025 -by -the following vote: Signatures on the following page.
