A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS
APPROVING A TIME EXTENSION OF AN APPROVED BUILDING PERMIT FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF DETACHED ADU
WHEREAS, Howard Maureen ("Owner") owns the property commonly known as 12700 Viscaino
Road, Los Altos Hills, California (APN 175-54-072); and
WHEREAS, the building permits #BLD21-0606 for a new main residence basement and a new pool
house conversion to an ADU were issued on May 19, 2022, with reasonable conditions of approval; and
WHEREAS, the permits expired on May 19, 2024, as the Town has adopted a Construction Time Limits
Ordinance and, pursuant thereto, sets an expiration date for Building Permits for new dwellings and
remodels with additions with a project valuation between $250,001 to $500,000 at twenty-four (24)
months; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Construction Time Limits Ordinance, the City Council has the authority
to grant reasonable extensions of time for Building Permits that have expired; and
WHEREAS, the Town generally grants time extensions of one (1) calendar year; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills does
hereby approve on behalf of the Owners, a one (1) year Time Extension of approved Building Permit #
BLD21-0606, subject to the originally adopted conditions.
The above and foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted by the City Council of the Town of Los
Altos Hills at a regular meeting held on the 20th of November 2025 by the following vote:
AYES: TANKHA, BHATEJA, MOK, SWAN, TYSON

ABSENT: NONE
