A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS
APPROVING A TIME EXTENSION OF A PERMIT NEW RESIDENCE WITH DETACHED
GARAGE AND BASEMENT
WHEREAS, Danielle Xu ("Owners") owns the property commonly known as 12640 Madera Lane, Los
Altos Hills, California (APN 175-54-004); and
WHEREAS, the building permits #BLD 19-0592 for a new residence with detached garage and
basement were issued on February 2, 2022, with reasonable conditions of approval; and
WHEREAS, the permits expired on August 2, 2024, as the Town has adopted a Construction Time
Limits Ordinance and, pursuant thereto, sets an expiration date for Building Permits for new dwellings
and remodels with additions with a project valuation between $0 and $250,000 at eighteen (18) months;
and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Construction Time Limits Ordinance, the City Council has the authority to
grant reasonable extensions of time for Building Permits that have expired; and
WHEREAS, the Town generally grants time extensions of one (1) calendar year; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills does
hereby approve on behalf of the Owners, a one (1) year Time Extension of approved Building Permit #
BLD 19-0592, subject to the originally adopted conditions.
The above and foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted by the City Council of the Town of Los
Altos Hills at a regular meeting held on the 19th day of March 2026 by the following vote:
