RESOLUTION 48-26
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS .ALTOS HILLS
APPROVING THE RENEWAL OF THE AGREEMENT FOR USE, MAINTENANCE, AND
IMPROVEMENT OF PLAYING FIELD FACILITIES WITH LOS ALTOS/LOS ALTOS
HILLS LITTLE LEAGUE; AND APPROVAL OF THE SECOND AMENDMENT TO THE
AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the Town of Los Altos Hills and Los Altos/Los Altos Hills Little League ("Little League")
entered into an Agreement for Use, Maintenance and Improvement of Playing Field Facilities effective
July 1, 2023 ("Agreement"); and
WHEREAS, the Agreement establishes the respective rights and responsibilities of the Town and Little
League regarding the use, maintenance, operation, and improvement of the baseball facilities located at
Purissima Park; and
WHEREAS, Section IV.B of the Agreement provides for automatic renewal of the Agreement for
successive three-year terms unless written notice of non -renewal is provided by either party no later than
April I immediately preceding the expiration date; and
WHEREAS, the Town and Little League have negotiated a Second Amendment to the Agreement to
clarify maintenance and operations cost-sharing references, remove redundant provisions, reorganize
portions of the Agreement for consistency, and clarify responsibility for internet service costs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills does
hereby approve the continuation and renewal of the Agreement for Use, Maintenance and Improvement
of Playing Field Facilities with Los Altos/Los Altos Hills Little League and hereby approves the Second
Amendment to the Agreement and authorizes the City Manager to execute the Amendment on behalf of
the Town for the period of July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2029.
The above and foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted by the City Council of the Town of Los
Altos Hills at a regular meeting held on the 18th day of June 2026 by the following vote:
