A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS
ACCEPTING THE FY26 PAVEMENT REHABILITATION AND DRAINAGE
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT PERFORMED BY G. BORTOLOTTO & COMPANY, INC. AS
COMPLETE; AUTHORIZING THE RELEASE OF THE FINAL RETENTION PAYMENT;
AND DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO FILE A NOTICE OF COMPLETION
WHEREAS, on January 15, 2026, the City Council approved the Plans and Specifications for the FY26
Pavement Rehabilitation and Drainage Improvement Project; and
WHEREAS, on March 19, 2026, the City Council adopted a resolution awarding the contract to G.
Bortolotto & Company, Inc. for $1,103,935.64; and
WHEREAS, the construction contract with G. Bortolotto & Company, Inc. was executed on March 30,
2026, and a Notice to Proceed with the contracted work was issued on April 23; and
WHEREAS, the project was completed according to the Plans and Specifications on June 17, 2026; and
WHEREAS, staff recommends that the City Council accept the project as complete and authorize the
remittance of the 5% percent retention 35 days following project acceptance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills that:
Section 1. The FY26 Pavement Rehabilitation and Drainage Improvement Project is accepted as complete,
and the appropriate officer of the Town is authorized to make final payment.
Section 2. The City Clerk is directed to file with the County Recorder of Santa Clara County, notice of
the completion of said project within ten (10) days of the date of this Resolution.
The above and foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted by the City Council of the Town of Los
Altos Hills at a City Council meeting held on 20th day of August 2026 by the following vote:
AYES: BHATEJA, TYSON, MOK, SWAN
NOES: NONE
ABSTAIN: NONE
ABSENT: TANKHA

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that G. Bortolotto & Company, Inc., on March 30, 2026, did enter into
a contract for the FY26 Pavement Rehabilitation and Drainage Improvement Project, in Los Altos Hills,
situated in Santa Clara County, with the Town of Los Altos Hills. Said improvements were completed
in accordance with the Plans and Specifications adopted by the City Council and upon the terms and
conditions set forth and identified by the written contract.
On the 20th day of August 2026, the work provided to be done under the contract was fully completed in
accordance with the terms of the contract.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the public board for whom the above-described work was done
is the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills, a municipal corporation of the State of California,
and that the name and address of the political subdivision for which the above-described work was done
is the Town of Los Altos Hills, State of California, Town Hall, 26379 Fremont Road, Los Altos Hills,
California 94022.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the name of the contractor by whom the above-described work
was done is as follows:
