A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS
APPROVING A TIME EXTENSION OF PERMIT BLD23-0098
WHEREAS, Yuheng Chen and Sherry Huang ("Owner") owns the property commonly known as 2120
Old Page Mill Road, Los Altos Hills, California; and
WHEREAS, the building permit #BLD23-0098 was issued for a ADU residence on July 18, 2023, with
reasonable conditions of approval; and
WHEREAS, the permit expired on January 18, 2026, as the Town has adopted a Construction Time
Limits Ordinance and, pursuant thereto, sets an expiration date for Building Permits for residential
projects with a valuation over between $500,000 and $1,000,000 at thirty (30) months; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Construction Time Limits Ordinance, the City Council has the authority
to grant reasonable extensions of time for Building Permits that have expired; and
WHEREAS, the Town generally grants time extensions of one year; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills does hereby
approve on behalf of the Owner, a one year Time Extension of approved Building Permit # BLD23-
0098, subject to the originally adopted conditions, from the date of City Council approval.
The above and foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted by the City Council of the Town of Los
Altos Hills at a City Council meeting held on 20th day of August 2026 by the following vote:
AYES: BHATEJA, TYSON, MOK, SWAN

ABSTAIN: NONE
ABSENT: TANKHA
