A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS
APPROVING A TIME EXTENSION OF PERMIT BLD20-0271
WHEREAS, Bart and Sydney Carey ("Owner") owns the property commonly known as 25621
Deerfield Drive, Los Altos Hills, California; and
WHEREAS, the building permit #BLD20-0271 was issued for an ADU on September 11, 2020, with
reasonable conditions of approval; and
WHEREAS, the permit expired on September 11, 2022, as the Town has adopted a Construction Time
Limits Ordinance and, pursuant thereto, sets an expiration date for Building Permits for other projects
with a valuation over between $250,000 and $500,000 at twenty-four (24) months; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Construction Time Limits Ordinance, the City Council has the authority
to grant reasonable extensions of time for Building Permits that have expired; and
WHEREAS, the Town generally grants time extensions of one year; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the City Council ofthe Town of Los Altos Hills does hereby
approve on behalf of the Owner, a one-year Time Extension until August 20, 2027, for approved
Building Permit # BLD20-0271, subject to the originally adopted conditions, from the date of City
Council approval.
The above and foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted by the City Council of the Town of Los
Altos Hills at a City Council meeting held on 20th day of August 2026 by the following vote:
