A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS
APPROVING A TOWN PURCHASING POLICY
WHEREAS, the Town of Los Altos Hills does not currently have a Purchasing Policy; and
WHEREAS, City Council of the Town desires to formally adopt a Townwide Purchasing Policy; and
WHEREAS, to ensure the proper administration of the Purchasing Policy and to formally establish internal
controls, the City Council wishes to approve the Town Purchasing Policy, establishing the City Council's
role in requesting and approving the Policy on behalf of the Town.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills, does RESOLVE
as follows:
1. The above recitals are true and correct and hereby incorporated into this Resolution.
2. The Town Purchasing Policy, included as Attachment 2, is hereby approved.
3. The City Manager is authorized to execute the approved Purchasing Policy, and to take any other
related action reasonably necessary to carry out the intent of this Resolution.
4. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its passage.
The above and foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted by the City Council of the Town of Los
Altos Hills at a City Council meeting held on 20th day of August 2026 by the following vote:
AYES: BHATEJA, MOK, SWAN
NOES: TYSON
ABSTAIN: NONE
ABSENT: TANKHA
