DISCUSSION
At the meeting of July 20, 2006, the Planning Commission directed staff to prepare a
quarterly summary of solar photovoltaic permits approved by the Planning and Building
Departments and present it to the Commission for review. This report tracks the
implementation of the Town's solar ordinance for the months of April though June 2007.
A total of eleven (11) site development and building permits have been issued for the
construction of solar panels. The average size of the approved solar panels 511 square
feet. 162 building permits were issued during this time frame, 7% of the building permits
issued were for solar.
