RESOLUTION NO. 39-98
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING
EXECUTION OF A REIMBURSEMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS AND THE LOS ALTOS HILLS COUNTY FIRE
DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the Town seeks to clear and/or repair selected emergency
access roads in order to promote effective ingress and egress on such
roads in the Town during emergencies; and
WHEREAS, the Los Altos Hills County Fire District ( "District")
desires to reimburse the Town for all direct costs incurred by the Town
in clearing and/or repairing the selected emergency access roads not
to exceed fifty thousand dollars ($50, 000) ; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills has
read and considered that certain Reimbursement Agreement ("Agreement")
between the Town and the District.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the Town does RESOLVE as
follows :
1. Public interest and convenience require the Town of Los
Altos Hills to enter into the Agreement described above.
2 . The Town of Los Altos Hills hereby approves the Agreement
and the Mayor is hereby authorized on behalf of the Town to execute the
Agreement between the Town of Los Altos Hills and the Los Altos Hills
County Fire District.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of June , 1998 .
