RESOLUTION NO. 59-98
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS
APPROVING THE ADDITIONAL BUDGET FOR THE
PAVEMENT MANAGEMENT and STORM DRAIN IMPROVEMENT
PROJECT, CIP97-98 and AMENDING THE CAPITAL BUDGET FOR CIP97-98
WHEREAS, the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills on October 15, 1997,
adopted the Capital Budget for the 1997-98 Year; and
WHEREAS,the City Council has approved the contract with C.F. Archibald Paving, Inc.
for $700,887.40 to complete the Pavement Management and Storm Drain Improvement

Project, CIP97-98; and
WHEREAS, an additional $30,000 has been approved by the City Council for,potential
change orders and variations in unit quantities; and
WHEREAS, an additional $25,000 has been approved by the City Council for
construction staking and inspection services by the Town's engineering consultant under
the existing contract with Wilsey Ham; and
WHEREAS, such modifications will create a budget deficit of$70,000 for the project;
and WHEREAS, there is a surplus sufficient to fund this project in the Pavement
Management Project CIP96-97 budget;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills does
RESOLVE as follows:
Section 1. The sum of Seventy Thousand Dollars ($70,000) is hereby transferred from
Capital Project 467721 and appropriated to the Capital Project 467821.
Section 2. The total appropriated amount of the Capital Improvement Budget for each
account area of the Budget may be drawn upon in the form of warrants issued for
payments of demands and certified in accordance with the provisions of California
Government Code Sections 37208 and 37209.

Section 3. The City Manager is hereby authorized to approve the Capital Improvement
Budget as specified above. A copy of the approved budget shall be kept on file with the
City Clerk of the Town of Los Altos Hills.
