Application is for building site approval of 2.427 acre parcel, .++ nortio'a of Block 2 Los Altos Villa Tract, located between Kingsley and Lowel! Avenues and having access from Altadena Drive, Chairmen Hibner read letter of September 6„ 1966 from Mr. L. Jarvinen, owner of Lot 1138, citing objection to approval of the proposed buildint-; site. The Chairman noted approval of the building site by Mr, Jack Snell and Mr. and Mrs. Stan Troedson, adjacent property owners. Claris COW & Discussion followed relative to future of Lowell and 3inysley Avenues, both dedicated, but unimproved, unaccepted roads. _ Clark explained that he owned most of the lots and would like to abandon Kingsley hvenuc, from Lot 15 througl Lot 28, but this could not be accomplished at this time. Commissioner Minckley raised the question of whether approval of the map constituted a re subdivision rather than building site approval.. Relative to future subdivision of the 2.427 acre ^arc 1, Jr. Clark stated that this is probable, and that his residence will be placed on the northern section of the lot, During completion of the Check List, requirements for landscnpin„ and improvement of Altadena Drive were discussed. ECOMMEIMATION: That the application of Dr. Dean Clark (BSA -T-66) for bui.ldin{r site approval, under the provisions of Ordinance No. 102, be .approved in accordance with the provisions of the Check list. "OTION: Hawley; L3v'UIT: hfinckley; Mr.. Im.. Perkins, 26625 Snell Lane, raised questions relative to the existing drainage problem in the area and suggested the City Inyineer INV study the situation. Mr. M. Nachtsheim, City Engineer, commented that a study is being made of the drainage problem, of the lots on Snell Lane, and stated that he felt the development of the Clark property will not change the flow of the enter, nor will it contribute any additional runoff.
