RESOLUTION NO 108-98
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF A REPLACEMENT VEHICLE
WHEREAS, The Town of Los Altos Hills desires to replace the existing vehicle used by
the Building Inspector to conduct building inspections with a new vehicle, and
WHEREAS,the Public Works Manager of the Town of Los Altos Hills has determined
that purchasing the replacement vehicle through the Procurement Division,Department of
General Services, State of California meets the applicable legal requirements for
purchases by the Town, and will save the Town staff time and cost, and
WHEREAS, a suitable replacement vehicle is available at a cost not exceeding$18,000
which is the amount approved in the Operating Budget of the Town of Los Altos Hills for
Fiscal Year 1998/1999 for the purchase of the vehicle,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the Town of Los Altos
Hills that the Financial Director of the Town of Los Altos Hills is hereby authorized and
directed to execute a Purchase Order in an amount not to exceed$18,000 to Swift Auto
World North, Sacramento California on behalf of the Town of Los Altos Hills for the
purchase of a replacement vehicle for the Building Inspector.
