RESOLUTION NO. 5-04
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS
HILLS TO AMEND THE GENERAL PLAN AND ADOPT THE HOUSING
ELEMENT OF 2002.
WHEREAS, in conformance with State Government Code Section 65588 the
Town of Los Altos Hills has updated and amended the Housing Element of the General
Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Housing Element contains goals, policies and programs to
ensure there are adequate opportunities in the Town of Los Altos Hills to provide for
housing needs at all levels of affordability; and
WHEREAS, the Town of Los Altos Hills, as Lead Agency for environmental
review on the Housing Element update and amendment has prepared a Negative
Declaration determining that the project will not have a significant environmental impact;
and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has considered and recommended to the
City Council that it approve the update and amendment of the Housing Element of the
General Plan; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the provisions of law, a public hearing thereon
has been held,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills does
RESOLVE that the Town hereby adopts the Housing Element of 2002, as amended, to
replace the Housing Element of 1998.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at the regular meeting of the City Council of the Town
of Los Altos Hills, this 15th day of January , 2004 by the following vote:
AYES: Mayor Cheng, Councilmember Fenwick, Councilmember Kerr,
:Mayor Pro Tem O'Malley and Councilmember Warshawsky
