A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS
AWARDING CONTRACTS FOR HAZARDOUS MATERIALS ABATEMENT AND
DEMOLITION FOR THE NEW TOWN HALL PROJECT
WHEREAS,the Construction Manager did receive bids in full compliance with the Public
Contract Code for the hazardous materials abatement and demolition associated with the New
Town Hall project.
WHEREAS,the Construction Manager, acting in the best interests of the City did solicit soils
engineering consulting services associated with the construction of the New Town Hall project;
WHEREAS,the Construction Manager for the Town of Los Altos Hills recommends that the
contract for said project be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, Southwest Hazard Control
in the amount of$15,715.00 for abatement and Ferma Corporation in the amount of$27,300 for
demolition and that consultant agreement from Kleinfelder in the amount of$7,995;
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED bythe CityCouncil of the Town of Los Altos Hills
that the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute the awarded contract to the above-
named firms on behalf of the Town of Los Altos Hills.
