A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS
SUPPORTING THE CONTINUATION OF JOHN Mc LEMORE'S
SERVICE ON THE METROPOLITAN TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION
WHEREAS, John McLemore has demonstrated distinguished leadership while
representing the cities of Santa Clara County as a member of the Metropolitan
Transportation Commission; and
WHEREAS, John McLemore was appointed to a four-year term on the
Commission beginning in February, 2003; and
WHEREAS,the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills wishes to continue
to benefit from John McLemore's continued service on this Commission subsequent to
his retirement from the Santa Clara City Council on December, 2004.
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the Town
of Los Altos Hills vigorously supports John McLemore's completion of his four-year
term on the Metropolitan Transportation Commission ending January, 2007, as the
representative of the cities of Santa Clara County.
REGULARLY PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19 day of August, 2004.
