A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF A FORD ESCAPE HYBRID
WHEREAS,the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills has determined that the
Ford Taurus is due for replacement, and;
WHEREAS,the Town desires to replace the Taurus with a vehicle which is better suited
to staff usage and which will have better fuel efficiency and lower emissions;
NOW THEREFORE,the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills does hereby 1.)
authorize the City Manager on behalf of the Town to purchase a Ford Escape Hybrid at a
cost not to exceed$33,000 and 2.) approve an additional appropriation for the cost of the
vehicle as scheduled in the attached Budget Adjustment#2005—03.
REGULARLY PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of October, 2004.
