ROLL CALL: FRESENT: Commissioners Holm, Mellquist, Sherlock, Spain,
Stedman, Tantau, Williams
ABSENT: Chairman Dawson

Corrections: rage 1, Jack Hall, 1dd: "The abandonment of

proved with the consent of the Avidanos."
Page 1, Pro ress Report, Para. 2, should read:
"Commiss over utedman agreed to 'compile in-
formation' for a report showing building per-
mits issued in the area."
ACTION:
Adopt minutes of January 9Q, 1955 as corrected.

The Planning Committee, Commissioner Sherlock, Chairman, was ask-
ed to work out an agreement with Mr. Riley.
OLD BUSINESS:
1. Planning Commission -
It was suggested that names be submitted at the next meeting for
a new member to be recommended for appointment to fill the exist-
ing vacancy on the Commission.
NENd BUSINESS:
1. E. C. CCo�ols9 - Request for exemption of provisions of Ordinance #19
as amended by Ordinance ; 25, Section 2:20 regarding a 6 acre par-
cel.
AW Mr. Cooley was present. He stated that he did not want this divi-
sion of 6 -plus or minus acres to jeapordize the future division
of his 27 acre parcel.

RECOMtMTDATION:
` That the Map not be considered any further until the property
lines are established.
MOTION: Sherlock; SECOND: Spain
VOTE: AYES: Mellquist, Sherlock, Spain, Tantau
NOES: Williams, Holm, Stedman
rr. Cooley was asked to bring in a map with a permanently establish-
ed north boundary line.
2. Subdivisions:
a) Sewell Manor (83-57) 5 lots. -Lngr. Randlett.
Mr. Randlett was present.
Letter from Mr. McCandless, giving approval to this subdivision,
was read.
Mr. Randlett stated that tree planting will be done, in regard
to replacing orchard trees destroyed in park area.
Paths were discussed with regard to the cul-de-sac. It was
decided that there should be no paths other than on the
shoulders along the road.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the revised tentative map, dated December 9e, 1957, of
Sewell Manor (83-57) 5 lots be approved.
MOTION: Mellquist; SECOND: Tantau; VOTE: Passed unanimously
b) Esperanza Hills Unit Y22 (97-57) 17 lots. Engr. Nolte.
Approvals from all agencies have been received.
RPCOVMENDATION:
That the tentative map of Esperanza Hills Unit '42 (97-57)
17 lots, be approved,
MOTION: Spain; SECOND: Sherlock; VOTE: Passed unanimously
c) R. Isaacson (98-57) 2 lots. Engr.Reinoehl.
It was observed that there are (2) existing residences on a
one acre lot.
L RECOMMENDATION:
That the tentative map of R. Isaacson (98-57) 2 lots be
referred to the City Attorney for his opinion with regard
to the -two residences indicated on parcel jil.

MOTION: Mellquist; SECOND: Tantau; VOTE: Fassed unanimously
%r3. Curb Specifications - Fremont Hills Subdivisions.
The Flanning Committee will hold a meeting with Mr. McCandless
and a representative from Fremont Hills to review spebifiostions
for curbs in the Town.
The meeting will be held Saturday, January 252, 1958 at 9:30 A. M.
at the Town Hall.
MEETING ADJOURNED: 10:40 A. M.
NEXT REGULAR MEETING: Thursday, February 62, 1958 at 7:30 F. M. at
the Town Hall, 26379 West Fremont, Los Altos
Hills.
