HomeMy WebLinkAbout06/26/1975PLANNING COMMISSION Town of Los Altos Hills 26379 Fremont Road Los Altos Hills, California Minutes of an Adjourned Meeting Thursday, June 26, 1975 Reel 37, Side 1, Tract 2, 001 to 179 Chairman Carico called the Adjourned meeting of the Planning Commission to order at 7:40 pm in the Committee Room at Town Hall, 26379 Fremont Road: A. ROLL CALL: Present: Commissioners Brown, Hillestad, Schick, Chairman Carico Absent: Commissioners Perkins, Young Staff: City Manager Robert Crowe, Planning Commission Secretary Kate Tenney B. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: as deferred from the meeting of June 25, 1975 Commissioner Schick directed a sentence to be added on page 11, of the revised minutes of June 25, 1975, under 20 (b), to read: "Mr. Vlasic advised that to nave location of the tennis courts would require a new EIR, but the City Attorney advised that it was up to the discretion of the Planning Commission. Commissioner Brown, on page 14, fifth paragraph, asked that the word compound be changed to read: "land leased to the Club". The same to be inserted in Condition 24 (e) Commissioner Schick asked that on page 15, condition 26, the parenthesis be removed. There being no further corrections, Chairman Carico declared the minutes of June 25, 1975,as revised,approved as corrected. C. BUDGET REVIEW: as deferred from the Planning Commission meeting of June 25, 1975. The Commissioners discussed items of concern for the upcoming 1975-76 Fiscal Year, such as; non -conforming uses, school busing, a completed General Plan, Open Space, Topography maps, pathway master plan map, the need for a contingency fund and the $2500 allotted to the Planning Department for travel and meetings. Commissioner Schick moved, seconded by Commissioner Hillestad, to request from Council a $1200 contingency fund in the 1975-76 Budget 660 allotted to the Planning Department to be utilized by the Commission when Commission can present a concrete need of said fund or when Council directs Commission to utilize said fund. Motion carried unanimously. 4 PLANNING COMMISSION - June 2C, 1975 Chairman Carico instructed the Secretary to transmit the above mentioned concerns of the Commission to the Council. There being no further business, Chairman Carica adjourned the Ad- journed meeting of the Planning Commission to the next regular meeting scheduled for July 10, M5.
