Chairman Carico called the regular meeting of the Planning Commission to
order at 7:45 pm in the Council Chambers at Tom Hall, 26379 Fremont Road:
A. ROLL CALL:
Present: Commissioners Schick, Hillestad, Proft, Young and Chairman
Carico
Absent: Commissioners Brown and Perkins
Staff: City Engineer Alec Russell, City Planner Ken Pastrof, Planning
Secretary Kate Tenney
B. APPROVAL OF 44NUIT,S: September 10, 1975
Commissioner Schick stated it was her feeling that a Commissioner
40 who initiates a tonic for discussion should be so named rather than
using the general term "The Commission" as a whole. (ref: P.C. Minutes
September 10, 1975, approval of minutes)
There being no further corrections, Commissioner Proft moved, seconded
by Commissioner Schick and carried unanimously to approve the minutes
of September 10, 1975 as corrected.
C. NEV BUSINESS:
Commissioner Proft questioned in general the rationale behind the City
Council's granting the swinmiing, pool Variance for *or. Bryan at their
October 1, 1975 meeting. (ed. note: the Planning. Commission had denied
VAR -7017-75 at their September 24, 1975 meeting)
Chairman Carico reminded the Commission that the function of the
Planning Commission was to make recommendatiors to the City Council
concerning development in the Town.
There being no further business, Chairman Carico adjourned the meeting, at
8:00 to a Study Session.
