Chairman ITillestad called the meting of the Variance and Permit Commission
to order at 7:05 pm in the Council Chambers at Tw.n Fall, 26379 Fremont Road:

B. APPROVAL OF "TITHES: September 24, 1975
The Secretary noted on page 2 under New Business, item 1, reference
should be made that the deletion recommended is from Section 2-2.204
of the Los Altos Hills Tk)nicipa.l Code. There being no further
corrections, Commissioner Carico moved; seconded by Chairman Hillestad,
and carried unanimously with Commissioner Yotnrn abstaining, to approve
the minutes of September 24, 1975 as corrected..

Mr. Pastrof recommended a further condition of a 10' path.. ease-
ment along the northern property line.
"xs. Cindy Hettinger, Los Altos Horseman's Association, urged the
Commission to condition this easement as there is an existing
pathway un ltlack F't. load to Elena which crosses the Bakke property.
City Engineer Alec Russeil advised the Cormission that the pathway
was based on a verbal agreement with the property oiners and could
be revolved at any time.

Coratissioner Carico stated she was in favor of the nathroray as
Natoma was such a windy road it allu,Fed very Door line of sieht
which threatened the safety of youn7 school children.
Co=mmissioner Yorrn noted that the nathway system was desi m, ted
to provide recreation for the Tam's people and not safe passage
for school children via property owners as that is the responsibilty
of the Town.
Chairman Hillestad moved, seconded by Cormissioner Yosie, to
recor,,end to the City Council annroval of the Building Site
for the Lands of Bakke, B SA -6062-75, idth cond;'tions 1 thru
7 inclusive as pronosed by Staff. ^Potion carried by the follrnaing

The anplicant, PIT. Cottrell, reouested the Comrdssi�n defer the
pathway condition $13 to the tiep. of future subdivision.

Discussion ensued regarding the cowbinina of "r. Cottrell's pronerty
azd _VN $182-09-004 for future suhdivision and needed patiway
easements.
Coprissioner Carico moved, seconded by Cbairran Itillestad, to
Tecorumend to the City Council annroval of Lands of Cottrell, BSP:
6056-75, t!AY.-7020-75 and VAR -7n22-75 with the conditions 1 thru
13 inclusive as proposed by Staff and with. condition $13 deferred
