PUBLIC HEARING
Chairman Young re -opened the Public Hearing. It was noted that Mr. N. Philbr c
had been advised of the revised plan submitted by the Savianos as the Commission
had directed at their meeting of January 14, 1976, and that there had been no
response from Mr. Philbrick. The Commission also noted that It had a letter from
the Savianos giving the reasons for their request for a distance of fifteen feet
between the house and the tennis court. Basically, s
it was to gain space for
fire truck maneuverability (In case of a fire), and for a small pool, they
wanted to add later on.
Commissioner Schick asked If Staff were satlsifled that all six of the conditions,
listed in the Municipal Code, for variance approval had been met. Mr. Pastrof
advised that the wording was that the Board of Planning Administration (this
Commission) shall grant the requested variance in whole or in part from the facts
presented In connection with the application or at the Public Hearing. He
stated that it was Staff's contention, therefore, that It did not have to make a
recommendation.
The Chairman recognized Mrs. Dom lnlc Saviano. She reiterated the facts contained
In her letter requesting the fifteen foot distance between the house and court;
and assured the Commissioners that the tennis play would be quiet, something like
