The Regular Meeting of the Planning Commission of the Town of Los
Altos Hills was called to order by Chairman Mrs. Hal Williams, Thurs-
day, February 4, 1960 at 7:45 F. M. at the Town Hall, 26379 'Jest
Fremont Avenue, Los Altos Hills.
ROLL CALL: PRESENT: Commissioners Case, Dawson, Hibner, Mellquist,
Prentice, Stevens, Chairman Williams
Commissioner Alter arrived 7:58 F. M,
ABSENT: Commissioner Tantau
Commissioner Alexander C. Prentice, Jr. was welcomed by
the Chairman and members of the Commission.
MINUTES: January 23, 1960.
Correction: Page 1, Communications: Acknowledgement was
omitted of the letter of Mrs. Irma Goldsmith,
relative to paths and requesting that more
specific information be included in the Town
Specifications.
Additions: page 2, 'Tilsoonn _James C.: Add to the recom-
mendation: and subject to the condi-
tions on the Check List.
ACTION:

1. John W. Rile - Letter, dated Feb. 1, 1960, requested consideration

Deferred to the neeting of Feb. 20sb.
2. Dr. Calvin C. Flint Fres. of Foothill College_ - Letter, dated

Dr. Flint is to be invited to appear at the Planning Commission
meeting of Feb. 20b to present the proposed plan.

1. Paths on :.rastre.d.cr_) d. - ^ho C':-.xirran announced that the Council
toolt action requiriT� a fou, foot path within a ten foot right of
way along ,lrastradero 'load.
2. Freeway Connittee - Cormissioner Mellquist reported that there is
1 -possibility of requesting the State to put the proposed free-
way along the proposed "C" route.
COMMITTEE REICRTS:
1. Planning Connittee - Conmissioner Dawson, Chairman.
Chairman Dawson reported on the following items:
Status of So. E1 Monte Road Re-ali nrent - Resolved under Com-
munications. Page 1
Status of Off -Street larking - Chairman Dawson suggested that Sec-
tion X, Zoning Ord. be considered for amendment. He also suggest-
ed that other Sections be studied and possibly be considered for
amendment.

STUDY SESSION: Current Use of Stanford Universit Lands.
Mi-lf E. Lrandin, `ice -.res. and ?Business Manager
of Stanford University, explained the current use of
lands of the University. Be illustrated his discus-
sion with a map of the Master Tlan of Stanford Uni-
versity Lands.
Mr. -,randin answered answered questions asked him by
Councilman Clayton, Mayor Fowle, Mr. Nestor Barrett,
Mr. Sidney _:d. Treat, who were in the audience, and
merbers of the Planning Cor-rission.
The Study Cession was chaired by Chairman of the Plan-
nin_; Co=.ittee, Richard S. Dawson.
Chairman Williams resumed the Chair.
Mr. Dan Dana questioned whether sewers in Page Mill _toad was a closed
issue. He was directed to contact the City Council.
