MINUTES OF A RIGULAR 1477TING
June 2, 1960
The Regular Meeting of the Planning Commission of the Town of Los
Altos Hills was called to order Thursday, June 2, 1960 at 7:45 P. M.
by Chairman Richard S. Dawson at the Town Hall, 26379 W. Fremont Ave.
Los Altos Hills.
ROLL CALL: PRESENT: Commissioners Hibner, Mellquist, Stevens,
Chairman Dawson; Commissioner 9illiams arrived
at 7:46 P. M., Commissioner Prentice arrived at
7:53 P. M.
ABSMTT: None
COMMUNICATIONS: None.
ANNOUNCEMENTS: None.
OLD BUSINESS:
1.
H. HKerrt - Consideration for Relocation of Aacess Road in
Approved Subdivision.
Commissioner Hibner reported that he had made an on site inspect-
ion, and stated that he Mr. Kertz's request seemed reasonable to
him.
Commissioner Prentice arrived.
The problem of access from Moody Road, to Lot Y2, was discussed.
RECOMMENDATIOIT:
That Mr. Kertz present a map of the general area, showing
the alignment of E1 Monte and 1Soody Avenues.
MOTION: Williams; SECOND: Prentice; VOTE: Passed unanimous]
-. Fremont Hills Unit A (160-60) 36 lots. Engr. L. G. Brian.
Commissioners Prentice and Hibner reported on the on site in-
spection made.
Following discussion of the length of easements proposed, it was
the consensus of the Commission that there will have to be a
lessor number of lots and that access rights of way will have to
conform to Town Standards.
For clarification of the recommendation, the easements -are de-
signated as follows:
Street "B" - 40' easement off Elena Ave.
- Street"C" - 32' easement off>lena Ave, adjacent to Valle
Vista Subd.
Stru t "D" - 40' easement off Street "A" serving Lots No. 4,
8 and 9 in Block "T".

Street "E" - 40' easement off Street "A" serving Lots No. 5,
6 and '7 in Block "T".
Street "F" - 32' easement off Street "A" serving Lots. Mo. 4,
5, 6 and 7 in Block "R"
RECOMMENDATION:
It is the policy of the Planning Commission to request
larger areas and low density in difficult terrain.
That Street "B", Street "D", Street "E", and Street "F"
conform to Town Standards; that Street "C" be allowed as
a 32' easement serving not more than three (3) lots.
MOTION: Prentice; SECOND: Stevens; VOTE: Passed
unanimously
The Map Committee Chairman stated that the developers are to
submit a map showing the realignment of lot lines of lots served
by Street "B".
3. Resignation - Chairman Dawson.
Chairman Dawson announced that he had submitted his resignation
from the Planning Commission to the Council, to become effective
upon the appointment to replace him. He stated that his resign-
ation as Chairman is effective immediately.
Following the discussion of possible appointees, it was decided
that the election be held at the next meeting.
Due to the possibility of the lack of a vuorum for the meeting
of June 18>a, the meeting will be adjourned to June 25m, 1960.
