Hibner, Thursday, September 1, 1960 at 8 3'#— @M. at the Town Hall, 26379 W. Fremont, Los Altos Hills. -"/,If 4) 6D M ROLL CALL: PRESENT: Commissioners Alter, Bowler, Hawley, Mellquist, Chairman Iiibner ABSENT: Commissioners Prentice, Stevens MINUTES: August 20 1960. ACTION: Adopt Minutes of August 20, 1960 as submitted. Passed MOTION: Bowler; SECOND: ilellquist; VOTE: unanimously COMMUNICATIONS: 1. Santa Clara Flannin Commission - Letter regarding course on lanning. Commissioners Hawley and Alter expressed interest. 2. Charles S. McCandless - Letter relative to Albertsworth subdivi- sion. 3. Nestor Barrett - Letter relative to proposed road from I400dy Road to Furissima Ave, affecting the Boggs property. Discussion was deferred to New Business (Boggs Subdivision). 4. Commissioner Mellouist - Letter outlining several points for con- sideration by the Bunning Advisory Committee. Referred to the Planning Committee. A copy is being forwarded to Rex Gardiner, Chairman of I:lanning :-dvisory Committee. 5. John 4I. Rilej - Letter requesting consideration of a tentative map of two - lot subdivision. Referred to the Map Committee. i OLD BUSINESS: #r 1. Kertz Realty - Approval of Change in Access Road in Approved Sub- ivision. Action was postponed for sixty (60) days, at which time Mr. Kertz has promised to have completed the bulldozing of the land to the satisfaction of the City Engineer. li NEW BUSINESS: None: DIVISIONS OF LANDt 1. Boggs Wm and Della (165-60) 6 lots. ^ngr. Marvin Wolff. RECOMMENDATION: That the Tentative Map of Jm. and Della Boggs (165-60) 5 lots be referred to the Planning Consultant for analysis and sug- gestion as to road and traffic problems in the immediate area. MOTION: Mellquist; SECONDED; Hawley; VOTE: Passed unanimous]. Commissioner Mellquist was excused (8:45 P. M.). 2. Ke von. Mrs. R. E.164-60 2 lots. Engr. Marvin Wolff. RECOMMENDATION: That the Tentative Map be recommended for approval, subject to the dedication of ten foot (10') right of way, inprovement of Elena Avenue frontage, the construction of path along Elena Avenue frontage, removal of pump now located in the right of way to be dedicated, and the approval of all agenc.- cies; further, subject to the Map Committee finding the trees satisfactory, otherwise additional planting will be required. All exceptions to the dedicatigns to be cleared. MOTION: Alter; SECOND: Hawley; VOTE: Passed unanimously PRELIMINARY DISCUSSION! 1. Cross James - 2 lots. The suggestion was made that Dr. Cross discuss with his neighbors the improvement of ?crnhill Road. The recommendation was made that the Manning Consultant be con- sulted with the thought of establishing a town plan line for Fernhill Road. MEETING ADJOURNED: 10:15 F. M.
