Hibner Saturday, September 17, 1960 at 8:43 A. M. at the Town Hall, 26379 W. Fremont, Los Altos Hills. ROLL CAIS,: PRESENT: Commissioners Alter, Bowler, Hawley, Prentice; l / Chairman Hibner MINUTES: September 1. 1960. Corrections: The time of meeting was 7:30 F. M. ACTION: Adopt Minutes of Sept. 1, 1960 as corrected. COMMUNICATIONS: 1. Moor Jam. M 'Oft - Letter, requesting the Planning Coamiasion to eon— eider esti'-U sshing a plan line for Fernhill Dr. Deferred to Committee Reports. 2. Rex Gardiner - Copy of letter to members of the Planning Advisory Committee i forming them of the meeting to be held Thurs., Sept. 22nd at the Town Hall. The Chairman suggested that members of the Plaamiag Committee and any other Commissioners attend this meeting. COMMITTEE REPORTS: 1. The Chairman reported on the meeting with Nestor Barrett, Plannipq Consultant, relative to the access road on Boggs property, the establishment of plan line for Fernhill Dr., and possible amend- ment to Subdivision Ordinance relative to paths. Discussion followed regarding Fernhill Dr. plan line. RECOMMENDATION: That a plan line be establial-ed for Fernhill Drive and that no subdivisions be allowed until the plan line has been established, MOTION: Bowler; SrCOND: Hawley; VOTE: Passed unanimously Recommendation on paths was discussed, and the suggestion was made that the Planning Advisory Committee study the needs for access paths to schools. Discussion of the Boggs property was deferred to Divisions of Land. VARIANCES: C 1, }ice i . 13. Boggs Wm and Della (165-60) 6 lots. Engr. Marvin Wolff. Report from Mestor Barrett, relative to realignment of El Monte Ave. in relation to Foothill College, was discussed. It was Mr', Barrett's recommendation that there be no road through the Boggs property, but that the junction of Purissima and Moody should rounded out. Chairman Hibner read the recommendations of Mr. Barrett and sub- mitted a written copy. RECOMMENDATION: That the Tentative Map of Wm. and Della Boggs (165-60) 6 lots is disapproved as submitted, however, it is recommended that Mr. Wolff, Engineer, make whatever changes'nacessary in con- formance with the recommendation of the Planning Consultant, and the payment of additional fees is waived if the mag is resubmitted within ninety (90) days. MOTION: Bowler; SECOND: Alter; VOTE; Passed unanimously 2. Bowen R. A. (166-60) 2 iota. Engr. John W. Riley. After discussion of access from Taaffe Ave. and the location of proposed cul de sac, with regard to possible future division of lot 1, the following motion was made. RECOMMENDATION: That the Tentative Map of R. A. Bowen (166-60) 2 lots be ap- proved as outlined, subject to the following conditions: 1.
