Hibner at 7:38 F. M. at the Town Hall, 26379 + ltos Hills. ROLL CALL: PRESENT: commissioners Aan ri Bowler, Hawley, Prentice, Steven ABSENT: Commissioner Mellquist MINUTES: September 172 1960. Petition was read, requesting rt motion of speed limit to 25 NPH and "S" curve signs on Concepcion Ave. Croocwr2ks were requectea at the intersection of Concepcion Ave. and Viscaino Dr. After discussion, the Chairman read the following recommendations: 1. Concepcion Ave. speed limit be reduced. from 35 PTPH to 25 MFH and proper signs placed. 2. Two "S" curve signs be rlaced at Concepcion and 'V. Fremont entrance and in vicinity of Corte Madera 3. 9 pedestrian crosswalk be installed at Roble Veneno Lane. 4. Pathway of 203 feet be constructed., as shown on attached map from Esperanza Dr. to `.scension :;ve. walkway of 3C with headers a distance of 4W5, A four foot (4') � four hundred twenty-five feet (425') along W. RECOMMENDATION: That, relative to the recommendations submitted by the Chair - 4 ` man, Items 1, 2, and 3 be deleted and that Items 4 and 5 be recommended to the City Council; further that it be notedit that relative to the deletion of Items 1, 2, and 3, is felt that the determination fetythe establishmenttallatons of speed limits, street signing, Commission: presently within the jurisdiction of the Planning but the Commission does recommend that this matter be given further study. MOTION: Hawley; SECOND: Bowler; VOTE: Passed unanimously 2. Fremont Rills Develorment Co- - Letter, dated Sept. 28, 1960, was read, proposing access driveway to serve Lots 13, 14, 15, & 16, " " in Tremont Hills Unit -5, Tract 2062. Block J , fir. L. Hine, Fremont Hills Development Co. representative, and Mr, John Clegg, Engiaeer „were present. RECOMMENDATION: That the plan be submitted to the City Engineer for consider- ation and recommendation. MOTION: Alter; SECOND: Prentice; VOTE: Passed unanimously WARRUTTTS 0.00, for services of the Planning Consultait Bill, in the amount of 12 was presented. Beaver (V-64-60) for reduction of setback reouirement for location of wator tank be approved, MOTION: Hawley; SECOND: Bowler; VOTE: Passed unanimously 2. Divisions of I•and: A) Stegner Dr. Wallace E. (167-60).2 lots. Engr. John W. Riley. Chairman of the Map Cormo.tted reported that the Committee re- commended that approval not be granted due to inadequate access and water supply for fire protection. Dr. 3tegnor was present and asked that a variance be granted on the road, stating that he is creating only one additional building site. He reported that he had discussed the road with the Fire Chief and felt that the road could be made satisfactory with several turnouts. RECOMMENDkTION: That the Tentative Map of Dr. Wallace E. Stegnor (167-60) 2 lots, be referred back to the Map Committee; that the Committee invite the Fire Chief to inspect the property in order for him to establish reouirements relative to ade- •Stegner cont'd. quate access and water sunply for fire protection of the property as a building site at which time the Map Committee 60 would then d.termiue whether or not to consider this subdi- vision for approval. MOTION: Hawley; SECOND: Alter; VOTE: AYES: Alter, Frentice, Chairman Hibner NOES: Bowler, Stevens The Motion was passed. The date for the Map Committee Meeting was set for Octobcr 31, 1960 at 3:30 f. M. at the Town Hall. B) Brubaker Otto and Lester (168-60) 3 lots. Engr. John W. Rile, Mr. Riley stated th^.t subdivision under the provisions of Sec. III, Subsect. 3:40 of Ord.. No. 35 is requested. RECOMMEND:ITION: That the Tentative Map of Lester Kaplan (169-60) 7 lots be approved, subject to the conditions of the Check List, and approval of oil .agencies.
