CaAlson Ae6enned to his sta66 report dated JanuaAy 9, 1981, notinq that this item was Reviewed by the Site Development Committee and 4e6eweed to the 6uft Uanni.ng Commission due to the public interest and visibiUty o6 the couAt. He 6urthen noted that the tennis court does meet the guidelines set 6o4 tennis cowts in .the Town. The hearing was then opened to the Public 6oA discussion.. MA. Pa n Brink, 25660 La Lanne, was concerned with the trees and senescing o6 the tennis count and asked i6 the court could be moved six fleet toward A4ucn.nda to save the eedcvL trees. He was also coneenned with drainage prabeems this count might cause. MRs. Mildred Gatto, 25720 La Lanne, was concerned with the drainage problems that occur at the present time. Mr. Bob Owen, Buitden, noted that he was very conceAned with any problems .the tennis count woutd cause 6or the adjoining neighboAs, indicating he was wi.P.Cinq to wank out any problems i6 possi.ble. 114. Paul Reneau, 13149 Byrd Lane, AepresentatLve o6 the Environmental Design Committee, concerned with the amount o6 intensity o6 devdopment and stnongfy uAged the Planning Commission to deny this request. Carlson indicated that a bond up to 100% 06 improvement cost would be allowed as part o6 Site Development requi,ement6. Commissioners discussed possibit ity o6 requiring a landscape plan bon the entire property be submitted by the applicant prion to approvat and that the court be lowered to elevation 214 as indicated in sta66 report dated January 9, 1981. MOTION SECONDED AND PASSED UNANIMOUSLY: It was moved by Commissioner Rydeft and seconded by CommissioncL Dochnahe to approve the Request 6or a tennis eouAt 6or the Lands o6 Bob Owen Homes, Fite SA 4945 with thehollowing conditions as stated in 6ta66 repart dated Januaru 9, 1981; 1) Aft drainage prom impervious Wu aeinq and the house shall be eaAried to the existing storm dnai.n via an underground pipe; 2) The grade o6 the tennis count shaft be lowered to elevation 214. Appkovae is subject to submittal by applicant o6 a Landscape plan o6 the entire parcel, ineeuding oh6- site- views, to be approved by the bull Planning Commission. A Bond w.i.P2 be requ,ined o6 the appfieant 6or guarantee o6 drainage, the amount to be designated by the City Engineen. 4. StaA4 was instAueted to prepare a letter to all members oA the Pathway Committee that haveworked on the Path and Traie Eeement. Also indicating the Dn ign Committees wish to be involved in the application oA the Paeo Afto School Site, stating the need Aor study sessions 4on house cool, Qat control_, etc. Mr. PeteA Olae/aee, 27975 Via Ventanna, supported Mr. Reneau's comments, indicating the need 4or.scope and outUne o4 the project. Me. watteA Babbitt, 27911 Via Ventanna, was conceltned with the cost o4 engineeA.i.ng and geotechnical seAviees, also indicating the need to discuss ideas with committees and public ptiort to statti.ng the. project.
