PUBLIC HEARINGS:
1. Lands of Brownrigg, File #VAR 1-81, 13090 Alta Tierra Road, Request for
Recommendation of Approval for Variance for an addition.
( Ms. Webb referred to staff report dated April 17, 1981, noting that the re-
bw quest is for a thirteen foot encroachment into side yard and three foot en-
croachment into the front yard setbacks for an addition to the existing
residence. Ms. Webb further noted that the residence was built prior to
incorporation of the Town, and is an architectually unique structure. She
further noted there have been no verbal or written objections to this re-
quest and recommended approval of the variance, based on the six criteria
for variances as outlined in her staff report dated April 17, 1981.
The Public Hearing was then opened.
Mr. Ron Freebarin-Smith, 300 Broadway, San Francisco, Architect, indicated that
his firm did a great deal of research on this project, finding the best location
for the addition, in relation to adjacent properties and the unique architecture
of the existing residence.
Ms. Linda Brownrigg, owner, noted she has lived in this house since 1959, and
it being only a two bedroom, one bath house, it just wasn't large enough for
her families needs.
The Public Hearing was then closed.
