MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING
Wednesday, October 14, 1981
Reel 95, Side II, Tract II, 000-100
Chairman Kuranoff called the meeting to order at 7:05 P.M. in the Council
Chambers of the Town Hall.
A. ROLL CALL:
Present: Commissioners Carico & Kuranoff
Absent: Commissioner Lachenbruch
Also Present: Assistant Planner Pat Webb; Secretary Leslie Penfold
B. PUBLIC HEARINGS:
1. Lands of Talbott, File #VAR 3-81, 26970 Taaffe Road, Request for
recommendation of approval of variance for solar panels.
Ms. Webb reviewed her staff report dated October 8, 1981, noting the
request is for location of solar panels with a 28' encroachment into
the side yard setback, not to exceed 6' in height. Ms. Webb further
noted there had been no verbal Or written objections to this variance
request and recommended approval based on the six findings of fact as
outlined in the staff report dated October 8, 1981.
The Public Hearing was opened and closed.
MOTION SECONDED AND PASSED UNANIMOUSLY: It was moved by Commissioner
Carico and seconded by Commissioner Kuranoff to recommend approval
to City Council of the Variance request for the Lands of Talbott, File
#VAR 3-81, as based upon the six findings of fact as outlined in the
staff report dated October 8, 1981.
There being no further new or old business, the meeting was adjourned
at 7:15 p.m.
