HomeMy WebLinkAbout10/28/1981PLANNING COMMISSION Town of Los Altos Hills 26379 Fremont Road Los Altos Hills, California MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING I Wednesday, October 28, 1981 I Reel 96, Side I, Tract I, 000-75 Chairman Rydell called the meeting to order at 7035 p.m, in the Council Chambers of the Town Hall. A. ROLL CALL AND PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Present: Commissioners Carico, Dochnahl, Lachenbruch, Rydell, Stewart & vanTameleu Absent: Commissioner Kuranoff Also Present: City Engineer/Planner John Carlson; Assistant Planner Pat Webb; Secretary Leslie Penfold B. CONSENT CALENDAR: MOTION SECONDED AND APPROVED: It was moved by Commissioner Stewart and seconded by Commissioner Carico to approve the Consent Calendar, namely: L 1. Minutes of October 14, 1981: variance & Permit and Planning Commission 2. Setting of dates of Public Hearings: The next scheduled meeting of the Planning Commission will be December 9, 1981 as passed by consensus, by the Commissioners. The following items will be set for December 9, 1961: A. Lands of Tossy, File #SA 5-81 B. Lands of Chung, File #A 5232, Site Development Referral Commissioners Dochnahl & Lachenbrucb. abstained from approval of minutes. C. REPORT FROM CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF OCTOBER 21, 1981: Commissioner Carico and staff reported that the City Council passed the budget and approved the Final Map for the Lands of Low. D. PUBLIC HEARINGS: 1. Lands of Handley, File #CUP 5-81, 13818 Page Mill Road, Request for recommendation of Conditional Use Permit. Mr. Carlson reviewed his staff report of October 22, 1981, indicating the owner is requesting a secondary dwelling with kitchen facilities and a per- manent resident; the parcel is more than nine acres with two lot units, which the Municipal Code, Section 9-5.703(k) allows this request. Staff recommended approval. Staff and commission began discussion of the use permit and property. Due to electricity `ailure, the neeting was continued to Thursday, October 29, 1981 at 7:30 p.m. in the Town Hall Council Chambers.
