Persons wishing to address the Commission on any subject not on the agenda are invited to do so now. Please
note, however, that the Commission is not able to undertake extended discussion or take action tonight on non-
agendized items. Such items will be referred to staff or placed on the agenda for a future meeting.
3. PUBLIC HEARINGS -6:00 P.M.
If you challenge the proposed action(s) in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or
someone else raised at the public hearing described below, or in written correspondence delivered to the
Planning Commission at, or prior to, the public hearing.
All applications approved or denied at tonight's Planning Commission meeting are subject to a 21 day waiting
period during which any member of the City Council may initiate a Council review, or any member of the
public may appeal the Planning Commission decision.
3.1 LANDS OF GHEYRI, 27400 Elena Road (25-99-ZP-SD-GD-VAR); A request for a
Site Development Permit for a new two-story residence, swimming pool, and
cabana; and a variance to allow the residence and parking spaces within the front
setback (continued from November 10, 1999).
3.2 LANDS OF ASTIZ, 13901 Edith Avenue (182-99-ZP-SD-GD); A request for a Site
Development Permit for a new residence and secondary dwelling unit (continued
from November 10, 1999).
PUBLIC HEARINGS -7:00 P.M.
3.3 LANDS OF BARATTA, 11675 Dawson Drive (222-99-ZP-SD-VAR); A request
for a Site Development Permit for a pool, and variance to exceed the maximum
development area. Continued to January 12, 2000.
3.4 LANDS OF TORABI & MAJIDI, 26861 Purissima Road (228-99-ZP-SD); A
request for a Site Development Permit for a new residence.

a Site Development Permit for a new residence, and variance to allow encroachment
of house and parking area into setback from access easement.

request for a Site Development Permit for a new residence, and variances to exceed
allowable floor area and development area, and to allow parking to encroach into the
required setback.
