RESOLUTION NO. 23-89
A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE POSITION OF YOUTH COMMISSIONER
FOR THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS
RESOLVED , by the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills, County of Santa
Clara, State of California, as follows :
1 . The Position of Youth Commissioner for the Town of Los Altos
Hills is hereby created.
2. The Youth Commissioner who shall be appointed by the City Council ,
shall have the following duties:
a) To act as an Advocate for youth services.
b) To act as a liaison between the Town of Los Altos Hills
and community service agencies serving youth.
c) To coordinate efforts to provide social activities for
youth in a healty, drug-free environment .
d) To promote education regarding substance abuse .
e ) To perform such other duties as may be assigned by the
City Council .
As used in this Resolution, the term Youth refers to persons who are 18 years
of age , or younger.
REGULARLY passed and adopted this 15th day of February ,1989.
