NO. 39-89
A RESOULTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS APPROVING A GRANT APPLICATION
FOR AN URBAN STREAM RESTORATION GRANT. AND
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION AND SUBMISSION THEREOF
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills, County of
Santa Clara, State of California, that
WHEREAS, the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills desires to
apply jointly with Hidden Villa and the City of Los Altos for a grant of money
from the State of California in connection with its Streams Restoration
Program in order to restore and enhance Adobe and other Town Creeks; and
WHEREAS, in order to apply for these funds it is necessary for a Grant
Application to be approved and authorized; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills has
considered the benefits the Stream Restoration Program Grant can have in
the Town's ongoing efforts to restore and enhance the Creeks named above,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY FOUND, ORDERED AND DETERMINED as
follows:
1. Public interest and convenience require the approval and
submission jointly with Hidden Villa and the City of Los Altos of a Grant
Application to the California Department of Water Resources, and the City
Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills hereby approves and authorizes the
submittal of the Grant Application described above.
2. The City Manager of the Town of Los Altos Hills be, and he hereby
is authorized and directed on behalf of said Town to execute the Grant •

Application, and submit the Grant Application to the California Department
of Water Resources.
