HomeMy WebLinkAbout64-89 • RESOLUTION NO. 64-89 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS DILLS ACCEPTING A CERTAIN EASEMENT DEED (PEDESTRIAN - EQUESTRIAN) RESOLVED, by the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills, County of Santa Clara, that WHEREAS, heretofore the Town of Los Altos Hills has received a certain Easement Deed (Pedestrian-Equestrian) executed by Keith W. Merrill and Dagny J. Merrill, his wife; and WHEREAS, the Town of Los Altos Hills now desires to accept the above-described Easement Deed, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows: 1. That the Easement Deed executed by Keith W. Merrill and Dagny J. Merrill, his wife, be and the same hereby is accepted by the Town of Los Altos Hills. 2. The City Clerk of the Town of Los Altos Hills hereby is directed and ordered to cause the Easement Deed described above to be recorded in the Office of the Recorder of the County of Santa Clara. REGULARLY passed and adopted this 17th day of May, 1989. MERRILL, his wife, hereby GRANT to the TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS, a Municipal Corporation of the State of California, the following: A PATHWAY EASEMENT for equestrians and pedestrians, together with ingress thereto and egress therefrom and the right to install, maintain, repair, protect and replace, a PATHWAY thereon together with appurtenances thereto, in on, over, across, along and upon the following described real property situate in the County of Santa Clara, State of California, to wit: All that certain real property situate in the County of Santa Clara, State of California and being a portion of that certain 16.51 acre parcel of land as shown on that certain Record of Survey filed in Book 47 of Maps at Pages 22, 23, 24, and 25, Santa Clara County Records and being more particularly a 20 feet wide strip of land, the centerline described as follows: Beginning at the northeasterly corner of said 16.51 acre parcel of land, said corner being in the: centerline of a 40 foot wide private road known as La Lorna Drive (formerly El Monte Avenue) at the easterly terminus of said private road as shown E on that certain Record of Survey filed in Book 47 of Maps at Pages 22, 23, 24, and 25, Santa Clara County Records; Thence along said centerline, said line also being the northerly line of said 16.51 acre parcel of land, South 88° 10' 20" West, 74,51 feet; Thence North 87° 24' 47" West, 166.16 feet to a point, said point being the True Point of Beginning; Thence southeasterly along a line parallel with and 10 feet distant (measured at right angles) from the northeasterly line of that certain parcel of land granted to Lloyd A. Addleman and D. Patricia Addleman, recorded in Book 2880 of Official Records at Pages 350 and 351, Santa Clara County Records, South 31° 01' 00" East, 317.26 feet; Thence southwesterly along a line parallel with and 10 feet distant (measured at right angles) from the southeasterly line of said parcel of land granted to Lloyd A, Addleman and D. Patricia Addleman, as well as, the southeasterly line of that certain parcel of land granted to T. Earl Tilley and Betsy B. Tilley, recorded in Book 6301 of Official Records at Pages 167 and 168, Santa Clara County Records, South 65° 30' 14" West, 440,00 feet to the beginning of a non -tangent curve concave to the west having a radius of 195,00 feet. and to which beginning a radial line bears North 65° 30' 14" East, said radial line being parallel to said southeasterly lines; Thence southerly 81.29 feet ailong said curve through a central angle of 23' 3' 06" to the southerly line of the 16,51 acre parcel of land as shown on said Record of Survey.
