RESOLUTION NO. 74-89
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION
OF FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT TO PROVIDE LOCAL
LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY ACCESS TO THE
CALIFORNIA IDENTIFICATION SYSTEM BETWEEN THE
TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS AND THE COUNTY OF SANTA CLARA
AND CERTAIN NAMED CITIES
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills, County of
Santa Clara, State of California, that
WHEREAS, the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills has read and
considered that certain "FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT TO PROVIDE
LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY ACCESS TO THE CALIFORNIA
IDENTIFICATION SYSTEM" (herein called the "Agreement" between the Town
of Los Altos Hills and the County of Santa Clara, the Cities of Campbell,
Cupertino, Gilroy, Los Altos, Milpitas, Monte Sereno, Morgan Hill, Mountain
View, Palo Alto, San Jose, Saratoga, Sunnyvale, and the Town of Los Gatos,
respectively, to extend the term of the original Agreement to fund,
implement, and operate a local automated fingerprint identification system
to provide local law enforcement agencies with direct access to the California
Identification System through the use of local remote access network
equipment,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY FOUND, ORDERED AND DETERMINED as
follows:
1. Public interest and convenience require the entering into the
Agreement, and the Town of Los Altos Hills hereby approves the Agreement.
2. The Town of Los Altos Hills shall enter into, and the Mayor and City
Clerk of the Town of Los Altos Hills be, and they and each of them hereby is

authorized and directed on behalf of said City, respectively, to execute and
attest the Agreement between the Town of Los Altos Hills and the County of
Santa Clara and the Cities named above.
REGULARLY passed and adopted this 21st day of June, 1989.
