RESOLUTION NO. 85-89
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF
LOS ALTOS HILLS, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, SETTING THE TIME
AND PLACE OF HEARING ON PROPOSED CHANGES AND
AMENDMENTS TO THE TEXT OF CHAPTER 1 OF TITLE 10 OF THE
LOS ALTOS HILLS MUNICIPAL CODE ENTITLED "ZONING LAW
OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS"AND CONCERNING
ADOPTION OF A PROPOSED NEGATIVE DECLARATION
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills, County of
Santa Clara, State of California, that
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has caused to be prepared and has
considered and made its recommendations to the City Council concerning a
proposed Ordinance which would amend Sec 10-1.249 defining "Structure",
add Sec 10-1.249(1) defining "Minor Structures" and Sec 10-1.249(2) defining
"Ornamental Garden Structures", respectively, amend Sec 10-1.601
concerning off-street parking facilities; amend Sec 10-1.702 adding
Subsection (k) concerning Secondary Dwellings as a use to be allowed without
obtaining a Use Permit, and repeal Subsection (k) concerning Secondary
Dwellings and reletter Subsections (1) and (m) as (k) and (1), respectively, Sec
10.1.703 entitled "Conditional Uses and Structures (R-A)" of Chapter 1, of Title
10 of the Los Altos Hills Municipal Code entitled "Zoning Law of the Town of
Los Altos Hills"; and
WHEREAS, there has been prepared and filed with the City Clerk a
proposed Negative Declaration following an initial study to determine
whether the proposed amendments, additions, repeals, and relettering of
above-numbered Sections may have a significant effect on the environment;
and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows:
1. The City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills does hereby set the
hour of 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday, July 19, 1989, in the Council Chambers, Town

Hall, 26379 Fremont Road, Los Altos Hills, California, as the time and place for
the Public Hearing thereon as required by the Government Code of California,
and the time and place when the Council shall consider adoption of the
proposed Negative Declaration.
2. The City Clerk is hereby ordered and directed to cause notice of said
Public Hearing to be made by doing each of the following things not less than
ten (10) days prior to the date of the Public Hearing, and as required by
Section 64090 to 65094, inclusive of the Government Code of California, and
the Los Altos Hills Municipal Code, to wit:
(a) Posting a Notice of Public Hearing in at least three (3) public
places in the Town of Los Altos Hills.
(b) Giving Notice of said Public Hearing by first class mail to any
person who has filed a written request therefore with the Town
of Los Altos Hills.
(c) Mailing a copy of the Notice of the Preparation of the Negative
Declaration to all organizations and individuals who have
previously requested such notice of the Town of Los Altos Hills.
REGULARLY passed and adopted this 5th day of July, 1989.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
AND OF
PREPARATION OF NEGATIVE DECLARATION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the Town of Los Altos
Hills will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, July 19, 1989, at the hour of
7:15 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Town Hall, 26379 Fremont Road, Los Altos
Hills, California, to consider the following:
1. Proposed amendment of Sec 10-1.249 defining "Structure", addition
of Sec 10-1.249(1) defining "Minor Structures" and Sec 10-1.249(2) defining
"Ornamental Garden Structures", respectively; amendment of Sec 10-1.601
concerning off-street parking facilities; amendment of Sec 10-1.702 adding
Subsection (k) concerning Secondary Dwellings as a use to be allowed without
obtaining a Use Permit; and repeal Subsection (k) concerning Secondary
Dwellings and relettering Subsections (1) and (m) as (k) and (1), respectively,
of Sec 10-1.703 of Chapter 1, entitled "Zoning" of Title 10 of the Los Altos Hills
Municipal Code; and
2. Whether to adopt a proposed Negative Declaration concerning the
proposed amendment, addition, repeal, and relettering of the above-
numbered Sections which has been prepared.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN THAT copies of the Sections proposed to be
amended, added to, repealed, or relettered and the Negative Declaration
proposed to be adopted, are on file in the Office of the Office of the City Clerk,
Town Hall, 26379 Fremont Road, Los Altos Hills, California, and may be
inspected by the public.
All interested persons are invited to be present and to be heard on the
proposed amendment, addition, repeal, or relettering of the above-numbered
Sections and proposed action on a Negative Declaration, at the respective time
and place of the Hearing.
